If you are looking for a beautifully made wedding dress you came to the right place. At nienke | bijtje we want to create that outfit, THAT dress that will make you feel amazing on your weddingday! In our lovely store and Atelier in Utrecht, we will create your dreamdress, or weddingjumpsuit or yellow minidress because who said a bride has to wear white?! Every dress is made to order and totally handmade (with love) in our own atelier.

A nienke | bijtje weddingdress is modern and always designed with you in mind. We want you to feel free, pretty and most of all we want you to feel like yourself on your weddingday. Our weddingdress design should make you feel amazing and we want you to feel JOY when you look at yourself in the mirror.
In our designs you'll find clean lines, minimalist shapes, colour and hopefully something of an edge. In our carefully designed collection you will find lots of dresses, tops, skirts (YEAH bridal separates!) jackets, pants and of course we do amazing bridal jumpsuits.
NoBODY is the same
We design for everyone. If you like our design aesthetic (have a look here and we recommend you follow us on instagram ) then we can make your dreamdress. It is very important to us that you feel comfortable on your weddingday and finding the right fit for you is what we do! IWe help you to find the shapes and fabrics that you will feel amazing in! And then we work our tailoring magic (actually its not magic...its hard work but VERY rewarding to see your smiles at the endresult)

How do we work?
If you would like us to make your weddingdress this is what you can expect from the different appointments

First appointment: Orientation
During this appointment your will try all kinds of designs from our collection. We will start the search for that perfect shape and fabrics! After this appointment you will have a very clear idea of the kind of dress we could make you. in the days following your first appointment we will email you a pricepoint/estimate with your dresswishes in mind (1,5 a 2 hrs)

Second apointment: choices are made
During your second appointement you revisite the design choises you liked during the first orientation and most of our brides are then ready to make most of the final choices and we can take your measurements (1,5 a 2 hrs)

third appointment (approx 8 to 10 weeks after measurements)
FIRST FITTING you wille see your dress for the first time and we will make alterations were needed

fourth and fifth appointment (few weeks before your wedding)
these happen around 4 weeks after your first fitting. After those alterations your dress is totally ready!!
What are the costs of a handmade wedding dress?
The costs depend on the design and the fabric. A long wedding dress starts around €1500,-. The pricerange of our dresses: €1500 - €5000
If you like a short wedding dress better, our prices start around €700,-. Pricerange of the short bridal and partydresses €700 - €1700
